Companies lowered spending to meet budgetary constraints in Q3. Purchasing expensive new equipment was put on hold as buyers tried to keep spending in check. Many buyers opted to buy pre-owned (used) equipment, which helped extend tight budgets. Pre-owned networking products witnessed a healthy growth during the quarter. Companies are taking advantage of pre-owned equipment as a viable financial alternative to provided low-cost enhancements to their existing platforms.
